An exciting new Paris exposition ‘Art Liberte’ will soon open at Gare de l’Est. On view; 30 large original concrete slabs from the infamous Berlin Wall, …SEE PIX BELOW! ..each has a highly creative, unique and powerful signature design. (I like the Hindenburg themed one)…choosing Gare de L’Est was symbolic, it’s the traditional historical ‘bridge’ between France & Germany.
As Well!..on April 15 the show organizer has invited ‘street artists’ to paint sections of the original wall on the Plaza de la Gare L’Est..until July. Plans also call for the appearance of some old Trabants! Go! Get a healthy dose of Art, History and Fun! (and its F-r-e-e!) THE SHOW IS THANKS TO THE EFFORTS OF FRANCE’S SNCF & the Sylvestre Verger Art Organisation. As well, the show sorta continues inside the Gare with more (modern) works of art on the same subject.
Can’t make it to Paris this weekend? No worries. Enjoy the photos below…and feel free to share with anyone who loves Paris! Cheers DP
